Removing Stainless Rocker Panels?

Hey guys, what do you recommend I do to remove the stainless steel rocker panels from my '97 GMC truck? It has been on there about two years for the most part. Has anyone ever done such an extensive trim/adhesive removal?

Get some fishing line, you should be able to get it behind the molding and cut thru the adhessive. That or a heat gun and just pull it off.

I have found that the braided kevlar type fishing lines work great..better than the monofilament type....you can get 20 pound test braided that is the diameter of 6 pound mono..this stuff cuts through trim tape like a hot knife through butter....one brand is named spectre line..the other is called fireline....wear gloves..as it will cut into your skin also....
