Removing P21S with a PC?

The waxes I used a long time ago were often difficult to remove and left an uneven coat.

Yet P21S seems to come off very easily. (As per the instructions on the can, I don't let it dry.)

Have any of you had the need to put a microfiber bonnet on a pad on your PC to get P21S to come off or even out?

Will using a MF bonnet on a PC to "buff" the surface of the P21S make it look any better?

With PC in hand, I have not yet tried it, but I don't necessarily see any benefit. It's easier to just wipe it on with one hand, and wipe it off with the other as you go. You might as well buff out a small portion of the hood with the PC and compare to the rest.

BTW, hopefully UPP did not remove all those SG layers you had on there

I tried Platinum UPP on a section of my hood. I could detect no difference in shine or depth.

But, when I took it into the direct sunlight, the section with UPP had scratches/swirls! I can't imagine that I added them with my MF applicator. It seems like the UPP brought out the scratches or something.

I've decided not to use it on the car. I'm just going to add P21S on top.

p21s is so easy to take off don't use a machine just wipe on and then wipe off (I let it stay on for about10 minutes its a little harderto get off)

Very weird, but it goes hand in hand with GeekySteve's CD test findings. Still, that seems uncomprehensible to me on a silver car. It didn't seem to do anything to my black paint. The shine in the sun seemed a little better than S100 (marginal), but close up the clarity was not as high. I thought UPP was holding up very well, but I discovered that it was just the QD that was deceiving me.

I haven't given up hope. When I finish the C32, I'm going to do the black BMW. I will try Platinum UPP again. It's received such good reviews that I'm not giving up hope.
