Eh, I like using very soft, very plush MFs for jobs like this (actually, for use when doing *anything* that involves touching the paint), but I do understand how some prefer something a bit more aggressive. As long as it's soft enough to *NOT* mar the finish I don't see anything wrong with using whatever you like. Less plush means less cushioning means less margin for error when it comes to contamination/marring/etc. but yeah...the vehicle's supposed to be spotlessly clean by this point anyhow, right? (Heh heh...yeah, in a theoretical, perfect world perhaps

)
While they're not my faves, I've used "suede-style" or "no-nap" MFs to buff off LSPs and those might be worth looking into. They do the job easily but alos load up with product residue quicker. But note that claims of "better durability because it doesn't 'clean off the wax'!!" and so on did *NOT* prove out when I tested for that :grinno:
FWIW, I find that "fogging" the surface with your breath makes LSPs (including KSG) buff off much more easily due to the little bit of condensation. No downsides that I've ever noticed, certainly doesn't compromise durability.
And of course with KSG you're applying it so thinly that you can't see it on the paint, right? If you use an ounce to do a Suburban you're using a whole lot more than necessary and making the whole thing harder.
