Removing haze SG by using SG

If you read the instructions that came with your Klasse twins kit, you'll notice it will say to remove the SG excess film by using SG and a MF applicator and apply over the haze and buff off right away. I tried that on my black single stage and it seemed to work well. THen again I'll have to check the paint when the sun hits it to make sure that the haze is gone. Did any black car owners ever try that technique?

This only happens to me if I apply SG too thick.

You can either do what you mentioned or mist some Quick Detailer on the surface and wipe it off. For those worried about whether the ingredients in the QD might affect the curing of the SG, go with the former.

I tried to QD the hazed spots with EO wip n shine but didn't really work. I felt like i had to put a lot of pressure on the paint to remove it. With my finger i can remove the haze. I'll let ya'll know how the paint looks in the sun

The best way that I have found is to use a damp MF followed by a dry MF. It removes all the haze. Even in areas where I put SG on too thick it takes it off with no problems.

Hey pats300zx, wondering if your paint is clear coated or not.

I'll have to try the damp towel followed by a dry one next time instead of using QD.

I'll second the recommendation to try the damp MF followed by the dry MF technique. Following the suggestion by one of the experienced members here, I've utilized that method of SG removal on four occasions in the past 2 weeks. Even when I applied a heavier dose of SG the damp mf/dry mf technique made removal a breeze w/ no hazing.
