Apr 26, 2005 #1 I III 97 bonneville/98 Z71 What would be an effective/safe way to achieve this? Would using an all purpose cleaner/degreaser work? I'm looking for something that will remove the wax, not just cover it up and make the trim look pretty.

Apr 26, 2005 #2 Spilchy New member I have read here that some folks use Eagle One A2Z wheel cleaner. An APC would work too. Just be careful your don't hurt the trim with the APC. You may have to dilute it. Or you can try http://www.properautocare.com/waxbawaxre.html Then dress with your protectant.
