removing decals/boat lettering

I removed te vinyl dealer's decal from my car by heating it gently with a hair dryer and scraping it off with a credit card.

Fiberglass is polystyrene if that helps. I don't know if GooGone is safe on gel coat.

Wurth Rubber Eraser Wheel (sorry I don't have a link) safe on any paint/gel coat I used it on thus far

Definetaly heat it up, then peel them off. I remember when I found the miracle that is the heat gun. Then I said "wow, this is so easy!" Most of the time, if you heat up the adhesive before you pull the sticker/decal, the adhesive will follow the sticker/decal, with very little residue. This makes cleanup very easy. Just take your time, keeping it hot.

Make it either an old credit card or one you do not use. I ruined my driver's license a while back taking registration numbers off our jet skis.

Another option is a plastic putty knife. Like the others have said, use a heat gun.

Use a hair dryer. Heat up the stickers/decals. They will peel right off. Just be carefull not to burn your fingers :up
