removing decals/boat lettering

if theres a corner sticking up just start there and pull it off. thats how i did it. i cant remember using anything other then my fingers to get it off. but if its really on there you can try using go-gone.

remeber its not like a car you can use alot of harsher stuff on it.
 
Maybe try heating it up with a hair dryer or heat gun to make the sticker come off easier. Then use a cleaner to remove the residue. This of course is assuming the boat is out of the water and all. :)

The hair dryer method has worked good for me on both boats and cars. 3M Adhesive Remover takes care of the residue, but I think most any of the goo-gone type of products would work.
There are a number of products available for this chore that are sold by marine stores.
