Removing concrete type substance?

G.T.Subie

I have issues
I noticed today that I apparently got some wet concrete type crap on my car. There are some slings in random spots, none of them are that big. I tried scraping it with my finger nail and it worked but it is leaving behind some light scratches, almost like sandpaper.

What would be the best way to go about getting this scrap off the car?
I didn't try a clay bar and don't really want to break out the hose this time of year.

It's not going through the clear so it's not awful but if I could go about another way it would leave me with less work come spring.

it's been said that WD40 can get that stuff off .. but make sure you wash afterward and then re-wax/ seal

If it is concrete, keep in mind that it's corrosive. With that in mind, it will etch the paint over time.

My wife works near a cement recycling plant and she has to drive 2 additional miles to work to avoid the roadway in front of the plant. They water down the roadway to keep down dust, only to create a slurry of ground cement.

That stuff is harmful to paint!

I used Blast-Off that I found at a building supply store. The concrete company was helpful enough to recommend the Blast-Off solution.

I'm Not 100% sure it is. I do have plenty or EX-P on there so I have some protection for a little while.

Thanks for the help guys
