I sprayed my tires with Bleechwhite and hit them with the pressure washer twice thinking that it would blast this staining off but no luck. I can scratch this off with my finger. Any advice on the best way to get my tires clean??

Any good APC with a stiff plastic brush will take most of that off. Get the tire wet, let the APC dwell for a few minutes then brush real good and rinse.

This is an issue with some tires, that said the tire dressing will cover what's left.

Degreaser and and a tire brush! Followed up with tire gel. I notice the liquid stuff usually doesnt make tires look good when their like that

Ive been REALLY impressed with this product. Its unreal how clean this gets tires. Ive tested against ARO, Megs APC+, this pulls a TON of dirty and browning off after using both the above products. I just really wish Mothers would make a concentrate of this product.

Mothers wheel and tire foam will clean that up nicely and its inexpensive and get at any local store.

I also use the Westley's TB for removing the brown off of tires. I have found a need to agitate it with a stiff tire brush to aid in stain removal before rinsing with a hose or PW. I have never personally had a tire not come clean with two apps.

i use a stiff bristled brush, and clean them a few times untill the "foam" turns white instead of brown... if you use a foaming cleaner i suggest changing out the spray head, foaming sprayers use atleast twice as much product for the same coverage...i use meguiars all wheel works fantastic! but purple power 4:1 usually works for those stubborn tires. i know one thing, i would hate to dress those tires. one brand of tires i HATE to dress is goodyear truck tires...so many ridges and they just look undressed even if you goop on dressing as the tires soak it up...

Thanks a lot guys. Great info. Earlier this afternoon I wet the tire and sprayed them with Zep degreaser. Let them sit for a few minutes and then hit them with a stiff plastic bristled brush. Still came out brown and stained. Something worth mentioning, these tires are only a few months old and have never seen mud OR tire dressing. I want to try the Mothers tire cleaner but I'm scared I will get the same result.

I just went outside and rubbed the brown on the tire and it will rub off to black with minimal effort. It's almost like the tire cleaner and degreaser I used did something to the rubber. Not really sure what to try next. Starting to piss me off...

Yeah, Ive always used the Westley's and it's never failed me. I did notice that now its made by Black Magic. I think they bought Westley's out and the chemical is less potent. Could just be me though...

Sometimes the brown wont come off after several cleanings and you just have to dress the tires and then they will look fine.

Dont stress out about it if you cant get the brown off!:)

There is a product made by a company called Trans-mate called Whitewall NL that would clean that right off. I get it locally but I can't find a place on the net that sells it so I could suggest it. The stuff is like Bleche White on roids and comes with a strong chemical scent but works amazing. You spray it on and can actually just watch the brown run right off.........very little scrubbing is required. This stuff will also remove ANY dressing. I am sorry I can't find a link online. Perhaps a search will show better results for you.

When I get stubborn tires like that I use Tarminator, but only after trying just about everything already mentioned. This is a great opportunity to do a review on a lot of different products and post photos.

I've had good luck with Wesleys Bleach white (wal Mart sells) use a good stiff brush. Wet tire and then spray and agitate, rinse well. Should do the trick. Good luck

I would error on caution using tarinator on any regular bases to clean tires. Its pretty strong and can remove the essential oils from the rubber.

In addition I would take caution in the regular use of any degearser on rubber of any kind on the car. Just like Dawn dish soap they are by design there to remove oils, which is a prominent component of rubbers makeup.

Just my .02 on the subject
