I had a set of wheels sitting in my garage over the winter. They were cleaned fairly well of all road grime (sand, salt, etc) before I put them in storage. They were stored on top of a sheet of thick plastic, with each wheel "face up" and another sheet of plastic between it and the wheel above it. Unfortunately, the bottom wheel corroded over the winter (strangely enough, the other 3 did not). The corrosion looks like a "spider" around the bead of the wheel.
Is there any way to refinish this myself? It doesnt need to be 100%, I just planned on selling these wheels, so I didnt want to pay to get them professionally refinished. They are machined wheels, with a layer of clearcoat (no silver paint).
Thanks in advance!!!
