Recommend me some Chemical Guys Prod's.

There shipping seems to be a bit high, a tad.

So im going to use that reason to buy some more of there products, lol.

Not to mention their packaging looks great and i have a affinity with skulls.

Oh and their products get great reviews. HA.

I would like to buy some of their microfibers (which they have good deals on but shipping kills that) and some good starter products.

Looking for something that would get me firmly planted in believing how good their products are (know what im saying?)

:thx

I wouldn't order directly from them (because of the high prices to ship), but DetailedImage.com is a big retailer for CG. I use:

Citrus Wash and Gloss (Awesome shampoo, great lubricity)

Synthetic Quick Detailer (Amazing lubricity for clay lube, can dilute to last)

Metal Wax (Leaves nice protection and shine over metal surfaces, not really a cleaner too much though, I would use P21S polishing soap first)

Spot Remover (haven't had much application for it yet)

Bare Bones (good undercarriage dressing, leaves good protection and shine)

VRT Dressing. (my favorite dressing hands down, leaves a matte new tire look and repels dirt for weeks, would highly recommend)

As for towels, just order from AG or DI. Or even go to costco and get a 50 pack (what I did). For polish, I would stay with menzerna, meguiars, optimum, or poorboys.

CG makes a pretty popular sealant called jet seal as well, I hear good things about it, but i have no reason to switch away from BFWD.

I use and like their Sticky Gel Wheel Cleaner. Price at the recommended dilution of 5:1 is something like $7 /gal., so when compared to buying stuff OTC it's not to bad price wise.

Just an observation take it or leave it - whatever you get, buy it in the gallon size, the 16oz size bottles they sell are really expensive if you do the math.

Example:

Sticky Gel Wheel Cleaner

1gal = $36.54.

'Properly' diluted that gives you 5 gallons of product (640oz)

16oz = $15.95

'Properly' diluted that gives you 90oz product. only slightly over a half gallon.

Chemical Guys EZ Creme Glaze - LOVE IT for use under a sealant.

I agree with the glaze. It smells like grapes.....not that that matters.

The citrus wash & glaze is definitely some of the best, and the grime reaper and green clean is also a very good product.

I use Chemical guys pretty much exclusively, so I am a fan of all of their products. I like all of their interior cleaners, dressings, and fine polishes. I don't think you can go wrong with any of their products.

When you go to view your cart type "gold" in the coupon code box. That will give you a few bucks off and will help with shipping.

Just stay away from their all in one polish... That stuff destroyed my clear coat - thank God I did a small test area before totally destroying my Camaro.

BTW their customer service sucks.. so if you buy it you own it, even if it is bottled crap.

CG Glossworkz- call to order. By FAR the best maintenance wash I used. More lubricated and higher gloss than CW+gloss, pH neutral and doesnt strip wax even a bit! Also highly concentrated 1oz per wash is sufficient. Negatives: on the high side in cost (call to check, it was $28 when I got it)

CG EZ Creme- Awesome glaze/ pre wax/sealant cleaner. Add noticeable gloss and by properly adhering your wax or sealant to the surface, you get better durability.

CG Super Towel:microfiber, microfiber towels, car care products, auto detailing, house cleaning, micro-restore, micro restore, df towels, microfiber Cheap, good quality, and soft, what more can i say ;)

Thats all I can say, as its all I own from them

Ive been using 3D products for the past year, 2 weeks ago I decided to give CG a shot since there close to me in L.A. I tried a few products..

Citrus Wash+Gloss- Great Stuff! Super concentrated and nice shine and lubricity.

Liquid Suds Pro Wash-Havent tried it but its on hand and at $12gal also super concentrated its a great buy.

New Car Shine Dressing-Awesome stuff, just a little shine and pretty dry to the touch...love this stuff.

VRT/VRP Dressing-Ultra Thick dressing, great shine but not overdone, not a dust magnet, and can be diluted to bring the shine down or spray in other hard to get areas (engine area etc..)

Odor Killer (Green)- Does a good job getting rid of the odors in a work truck so its good stuff to me.

Stripper Scent- One of my favorites, carefull with the random flashbacks will driving..they may cause you to daydream while driving and bring up good mammories/ i mean memories. :2thumbs:

All in all I was definitely happy with the products I purchased from them, and has replaced some of my regular stuff. Will be going back soon to try some more goods.

They have a lot of decent products ... some of my favorite ones (in no particular order)

1. Pete's 53

2. Glossworkz- great maintenance soap. It adds crazy gloss that lasts a few weeks.

3. Citrus Wash and Clear

4. Citrus Wash and Gloss

5. Stripper Scent

6. Leather Scent

7. EZ-Creme Glaze

8. Jet-Seal 109- It looks nice and it cures fast. Not the longest lasting sealant though.

9. Leather Cleaner

I have a whole bunch of their stuff.

I like the glaze, citrus wash, diablo wheel cleaner, m seal. I have the metal was but I have not used it yet. I have liked everything I have tried so far, their stuff seems reasonably prices as well.

I stay away from them directly. Go to their reseller Detailedimage.com. Far superior service!

this defeats the purpose of supporting any company with bad customer service. if i don't get good service from any business, i won't buy their products even from a different source...

I'm not knocking detailedimage.com, I use them now over AutoGeek, but I see everyone complaining about Chemical Guys Shipping Charges. Load up two identical baskets on both sites, barring the current shipping deal on DI... Ordering directly from CG's is generally. cheaper. I just did a gallon of Diablo, 16 Oz EZ-Creme Glaze and XXX Hardcore Wax... DI Pre-shipping total $126.97, CG pre-shipping total $78.02. NOW... I'm sure you will find a deal here or there on DI that'll override that... but generally......

Really? Ive always had excellent service with them. Of course, their phone service is pretty shotty but if you go into their store in Inglewood they help you out quite considerably.

They demonstrated Paint correction 1 to me on my car and it works really well. Of course my car isnt the best example since it has very minor scratches but I would say its a good buy.

Love their towels (much cheaper than AutoGeek's cobra mf). The Monsters are my personal favorite. And the shipping is no more than AG or DI. Specially with a coupon code thrown in.
