I have buffer holograms in my 2003 Black Z06 thanks to some ******* previous owner who did a poor job of taking care of the car in general.
Anyhow, I have spent over a thousand dollars on different detailers, some close to me, some hours and hours away with all the same results - buffer trails, a.k.a. holograms.
It's horrid to drive a Z06 and have a cheap looking detail job done.
My best experience was my last detailer in Tucson, AZ (about 92 miles away). Almost every scratch or scuff completely removed, but I still have the holograms (as opposed to others who left holograms AND really didn't get out the scratches).
I've used some polish etc to mitigate the issue somewhat but it still looks like ****. I'm getting to the point where one of the options might be a new paint job, but that's going to cost upwards of $3500 and probably still have the buffer trails anyways since the paint job will have to be done by some of these incompetant idiots around here. Plus, I can only imagine the issue of finding paint drips, etc.
I live in Sierra Vista, AZ...anyone have a recommendation or be willing to drive down from Phoenix (I'll pay for your milage and you can stay at my condo with me a few days) or from California? My other option is having TH0001 fly in from Florida, but then I'm talking much more expensive plane tickets etc.
