About 5 months ago I had my hard drive on my laptop crash. Since I have other computers in the house I had internet access and all the basics so I took my time fixing it, but all my work stuff is on the laptop. I am just starting to get caught up with photos and such. I apologize for not listing products and process with all, as I don't recall the specifics anymore.

Here are a few projects from the past few months in no particular order:

'05 Jaguar XK-R

JaguarXK-R21.jpg

This customer called me after I had placed my card on his Ferrari at the local Cars & Coffee. This Jag is his daily driver so he just wanted it to look better. It has a few issues with the clear in a few places that will eventually need repair, but for the most part, the car was made to look a lot better with a one step correction with Menzerna Power Finish on an orange LC pad.

Starting out.

2011 Audi A6

This customer initially had me prep their old Toyota Highlander for sale and he wanted me back to protect his new baby.

AudiA621.jpg

Not much spectacular. The white paint had some rust blooms. A little Iron X and a one step polish took care of it. LSP = BFWD

AudiA63.jpg

One of the areas that gets so little attention.

AudiA612.jpg

The reason I felt this was worth posting; leather seats can look just fine, but even at only 10k miles this 50/50 shows how much dirt and grime can be absorbed by the leather. This car is hardly abused. It is his baby and his wife even laughs about how anal he is about it. Regular cleaning is a must or the oils and dirt will take their toll, ultimately robbing the leather of its suppleness and eventually lead to cracking.

I just love what BMWs do to wheels.:wall

A 50/50 of the steering wheel. I find this so often in women's cars.

2012 Honda Fit Opti-Coated

01.jpg

This car was only about 2 months old by the time I got to it. For those who think a new car looks as good as it can I present the following 50/50.

I also must say I love when a customer provides a cold beer and a hot lunch.:rockon

Next up is a white M3 AIO. Rained all day, so the afters were provided by the customer. LSP= Optimum Poli-Seal.

Black NSX

I forget the year. This NSX has seen its share of fun. Tracked and driven hard. The owner is ready to sell, so he had me come do what I could with it.

When I arrived to detail this NSX the owner had it parked in the garage of the next door neighbor's house that was for sale. Unfortunately the listing agent had locked the side door, so while we waited to have it unlocked the owner had me give his Lambo a quick ONR wash and vac.

'08 BMW M3 Interlagos Blue Opti-Coated

I did a full correction for this customer last year on his green NSX. He picked up this Bimmer as a daily driver and wanted it Opti-Coated to ease in maintenance.

And a few write ups to come:

Update: Ferrari F355 GTS

Let's see if anyone can identify this vehicle before the write up. (Specifically!)

Thanks for taking a look.

Nice work on all of them Chris. Can't wait for the upcoming write-ups!

Thanks, Mike. Have been working on getting the Ferrari photos sorted and edited for almost 2 months. My fiancee gets upset when I spend my whole evenings on the computer. She goes out of town next week so I hope to get it done. I might wait a while and see if anyone can ID the VR. A true Volvo fan might know it.

Thanks, Thomas. Wish I'd had this up 2 days ago. Could have linked it in another thread. :grinno:

I'm in love with the white M3! Nice work bud!

Thank you. I gotta go with the Interlagos Blue, though. I wish I had better sun pics of it. The color just absolutely popped.

Those all look awesome, Chris! And I'm right there with you on the Interlagos Blue; just an awesome color with metallic that really pops.

That last pic is a Volvo of some sort. I'm certainly not super familiar with their interiors, but I'll guess an iPd tweaked S60R. Awesome job on them. That Interlagos pops amazingly well. Huge props on that NSX as well. They were amazingly sexy cars.
