Recent Details - v. '69 Camaro Z28, $100 Bronco, Durability Updates

 very cool!

Awesome transformations. That Camaro look amazing without any glaze or wax yet. It only proves that it's all in the prep ;)

My friend would kill for that Bronco. He's always wanted one like that. #66 proves itself as a nice one step via rotary.

I'm dying to try the pink wax. My brain is fighting the urge of my hand to click on the website to purchase - too many paste waxes!

Is the big "O" Optimum polish?? What is this mystery polish Joe sent you??!!

What wheel acid did you use on the Bronco wheels? Was it full strength? What was the process?

As always, killer work :xyxthumbs

As always great work. The bronco is amazing, what did he say when he seen it ? Swamp thing returns from the dead

I was extremely pleased with not only your professional work ethic but the results you were able to achieve. Pride in a job well done is a rare commodity today you should be commended on your attention to detail as well as your professionalism.

Nevermind your product knowledge or talent with a rotary but this simple statement is why you can detail my vehicles any day of the week!!

Nice job Sean!! :xyxthumbs

Nice work Sean!

That Camaro is looking nice and mean. I really like the Bronco turnaround too. Maybe when I run out of PwC i'll try #66 for one steps. As always your teg looks fabolous :xyxthumbs

Thanks everyone :).

It makes my 13+ hour day today not seem so achy. I did a Defender 90 and Audi Allroad today with 3 more nice rides in the next 3 days. I'll wrap that up Sunday. Anyways...

Scott: I agree and must note that my car was slicker this morning. Almost like there may have been a residue on there yesterday :nixweiss. Not like I just put it on, but pretty close (slickness).

Peter: It's a wheel sealant from Poorboy's that came out rather recently. I got the first batch of it in sample form and have had nice success with it. My car barely dusts but the rims do pick up standard road grime and dirt. This stuff allows it all to sit on the surface and be easily washed away. Thus far, I like it a lot.

mrzeee: #66 = Quick Detailer. It's a cleaner wax with a claimed cut of 4 out of 10. I'd say more like 2, but it removes compound haze, light swirling and staining. I like this stuff a lot and for the price and how far it goes, I will be using it more.

Tom: Sorry :(. If it's not a Honda/Acura, I tend to screw up the exacts. Yeh, VERY low. Wait until Autopia sees your ride :).

Aurora: I believe Tom will do it once he puts the rims on :). It's Optimum Polish...Patrick_Holland has renamed it to the "Big O".

mgm: My girlfriend's father was stunned. He wouldn't stop talking about it. The owner was pleased and gratitious as well.

Seth: I have to try Pink Wax next to some others, but I feel this stuff really hangs with the big dogs. Joe won't tell me the brands yet, but the compound is "Ok". It brightens up the paint (Dan noticed this as well), but sucks in anything other than cold paint. It breaks down/flashes far too quickly. I used Eagle One's Wheel Acid cut 50/50 with water. Hose down rim to cool, spray on generously, agitate after 10-15 seconds, rinse and repeat if necessary. It's not *that* strong IMO. It definately rips apart rust blooms and such which I like, but doesn't seem incredibly hazordous. No matter what, I use gloves, eyewear, and a mask.

Mike: Means a lot...Thank you :).

Matt: I KNEW someone would catch it :(.
