Recent Details! I've achieved wetness on silver.

03COBRA

I miss my 03 Cobra......
Well I got my order from PAC, which included among other things, #80, #16, Wolfgang Sealant. Anyways, I washed my Altima last night, QD's with Meg's Last Touch, and topped with #16. So I tired #16 on my Nissan Altima, and I love it. The stuff is a breeze to apply and even easier to remove. I got off work early today and decided to do my Service Manager 2001 Sebring today. Nothing really major, had a scuff on the rear quarter panel where something rubbed against it, no big deal, DACP handled that. Wheels were very dirty, lots of brake dust. Went up to the snow, and never washed them. On to the pics!! IS this wet or what on the Altima?

Nice...TW85 loves #16 topping sealants on silver too. Actually he topped sealants topped with Natty's with #16

Looks SWEET!!! :up

OK...I'm baffled with the layering and interchanging of the Zaino line. Everything I've read (both from Zaino users here and the Zaino website) seems to indicate that the Z line should be used exclusively with other Z products. My assumption is that if a carnauba or another brand of sealant was layered on top of a coat of Z5 or Z2 that subsequent layers of Z5 or Z2 would not bond?? :nixweiss Help me out on this one...

You may put carnuba on top of Zaino. It does add depth and looks great, but like carnuba on top of anything, it does not last. But when next you Zaino, any residue from the carnuba will prevent Zaino from bonding well in that area. I can't address the use of other sealants with Zaino; you'd have to ask Sal Zaino about that. But I suspect that each sealant would have to be discussed on an individual basis. Perhaps some other Autopians would share their experiences. For me, mixing sealants would be like drinking more than one kind of whiskey during the evening; more expensive and you'd have a nasty cleanup job the next day.

very nice results... I've had similar luck with DACP followed by NXT and S100...

I really do need to spend some $$ in the spring for some new products to try -- especally since both vehicles at my house should be getting replaced with new silver ones :xyxthumbs

Looks great. I am using GEPC and P21S and getting a wet look on silver as well. I will be trying AIO soon as the base layer.

 Looks outstanding! You layered sealants then topped with #16? Interesting....

I doned this with SGx a few (it was a sample so i kept applying), EX-P, and #16. Similar results=awesome finish! Good job. :)
