Came across a really, really good glaze recently - I couldn't even see the buffer swirls from a nasty wool pad. The good news is you don't even have to spend the time polishing after heavy compounding and the customer won't even know right away. The bad news is I was the customer - had a panel repainted on my gold Landcruiser.
I knew I was going to have to (re)buff the panel out after I had it painted, but initially I thought they did a good job...I've been up to my neck in details so I didn't have time to do a wash and alcohol wipedown till now, and man, I seriously had to compound with PG twice to remove their buffer marks!
