I have a 1996 Honda Civic DX with 29,000 pampered miles that is serviced regularly (just did 30k mile service).
However I am having an issue.
When the car is warmed up and I initially hit the accelarator, come to a stop or/and shift the automatic tranny into any gear, I hear a rattling that sounds like something metal knocking into metal.
There is no rattle when I go over a bump so it doesn't sound suspension related.
It's only when I tap the gas pedal at any speed, when I come to a stop (as soon as it comes to a stand still) and when I change gears.
The transmission isn't slipping or anything. It changes gears just fine.
It's very weird and difficult to pinpoint unless you were here to hear it. It happens at different times therefore making it hard to diagnose.
Its going for it's timing belt in November so I'llhave it worked on then.
Any ideas :nixweiss
Thanks!
