Well i ordered some edge pads and a adapter for my rotary buffer from huey chemical and they sent me 6'' pads for a pc and now i cant freaking do a car this weekend. Im so frustrated now. :mad: :chair:

Yeah but there wrong and now you will most likley have to pay to ship them back for the correct ones and you can't detail this weekend. Sometimes saving a buck or two isnt worth it. Stick with the sponsors.

Isn't the adaptor different for a rotary vs. a DA? I thought the two machines used different thread sizes.

no they fit on the adaptor fine its just that there 6'' inch pads...the threads on the output shaft is different but not the adaptor. I guess it wouldn't hurt would it? just not as much are to be covered by the pad.
 
My first step would have been to call the vendor to discuss this vs. post a rant. Why???

Based on my experience with Aaron he would have overnighted you pads (if possible) and it would have been a non-issue.
 
well if you looked at my first post carefully you would have noticed that the place i bought them from is not a vendor here and i had already e-mailed the company from which i bought them from.
