In the past few hours as I was finishing up, I did some reflecting (no pun intended) on my 'new favorite' paint combo.
I can't get over how incredibly slick this stuff is. I don't remember feeling anything like it, Even Zaino doesn't feel this slippery to me.
Both products are extremely easy to use. Neither one leaves any kind of greasy/smeary film behind...once they're cured, that's it. A light buffing with a microfiber is all it takes.
Less than an ounce of AIO was needed to put 2-3 coats on the car and windows (including what was absorbed into the pads **white-polishing**). The cleaning/polishing abilities of AIO are really understated. In many cases the micromarring still on the paint was gone. In other case, scratching was still visible...from an inch away and at a specific angle, any farther away, and they are completely invisible.
The UPP was also very easy on/off. About 3/4 ounce (again including what was soaked into the pad **black-finishing**) was all it took for 2 coats on the body panels and 1 coat on the bumper covers/ground effects/windows (I did the same AIO + UPP on the glass).
The shine isn't quite as startling as Zaino , but it does have a lot more 'warmth' to it.
Cleaning the pads gave me something to think about too. The AIO pad cleaned up easily with Simple Green & the garden hose...the UPP was a bit different. Even when heavily sprayed with Simple Green, allowed to soak and "worked into a lather"...it really was reluctant to come completely out of the pad.
It will be very interesting to track the durability...if I can keep myself from applying more coats
