Hello everyone. I am a new member to autopia and this is my first post. I am looking for a very high quality and professional auto detailing service near Clifton Park, NY(Southern Saratoga County). I checked out the Detailers Directory on this site and found no businesses near my location. I recently ran over some kind of black road tar that is now dispersed under both left side wheel wells and lightly accross the side of my GMC Sierra P/U Truck. The tar rubs off with my finger and I'm sure that I can clean it, but the truck is due for an inside and out detailing anyway. I have employed two local detailers in the past and have been very disatisfied with both. Both shops were fairly large operations with employees who left large areas of un-buffed wax, dirt in the interior, and just overall poor attention to detail. I would like to find a person in my area or one that will travel to me that is a true professional who focuses on quality not quantity and who also does the work themselves rather than pass the car off to an employee in training and then simply gives their OK. I also have a Acura MDX that will need periodic detailing. I realize that these aren't exotic cars, but I would like to find a guy or gal with years of experience that a Ferrari owner would trust. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
