well while i was touching up my chip, it seems as if the place where the object hit my paint was where the body filler was. now theres a little hole, i cant seem to fill it up with paint because the touch up mix i got is very liquidy. i'm wondering if i should fill it some primer or basecoat? can u guys recommend something i can get at a local kragen or pep boys. thanks a lot.

There's a product called "spot putty" for defects that are too small for body filler but too big for primer. It's basically primer but it's a paste and comes in a toothpaste tube.

PC.

Powergel (must be cured with accelerator). Zip Kicker is the accelerator name

evercoat metalglaze

google it.. many places carry it

when i apply the primer or putty its gonna be difficult to level or it'll spill out the hole into my chip, how do i go about doing this?

Nah, this isn't a job for spot/glazing putting IMO. Rust converter on that area where it looks like it's to metal, touchup paint on the whole chip. Even if it doesn't match perfectly it'll look better than it does now.

IMO that one doesn't really even call for primer (other than on the place that looks like bare metal). The touchup paint will fill it all up just fine, or at least good enough. And "good enough" oughta be the target here IMO.

This reminds me why I don't like custom paints ;)
