RainX Fast Wax??

I bought a RainX kit at Target with RainX Fast Wax, Original, Wash n Wax, and glass wipes on clearance for $7. Anyway my question is about Fast Wax, when I went to try it I began to shake it and it sounded very thick, then I went to spray after 1 min. of shaking, it sprayed out a stream (no it wasn't on the stream mode) of wax, that was liquid wax consistency, like a little thicker than Mothers cleaner wax! Then when I went to take it off the paint it was like a QD, it just wiped off with no hazing like I thought it would. Very weird. Well I though maybe I should shake it more right? Well after 5 strait minutes of shaking, it was still the same consistency. Although it was the consistency of a liquid wax it didn't haze and have to be buffed off like one. Is this a bad batch or what? Also its the stuff in a blue spray bottle.

Thanks

Well after looking the bottle over again, I found that there is a date marked on it and its 5/10/05 followed by Q-0576 FL53 17:00

Do you think thats the experation date? If so do you think target will take it back even though it was bought in a package on clearance? (I bought it about a week ago)

I did a review on it a while ago. My bottle was the same. Came out in a "string" instead of a mist.

It isn't meant to be used as a QD on dust, but as a booster wax on a clean car, so a mist isn't as imperative. I used it on a wet car (after a wash) and it spread easily. It also wipes off quick and easily. I think it's pretty good for an "After Wash" booster (like E1 WAUD).

If you are going to return it, try it first, then try returning it saying you didn't like it, as opposed to you think it may be old.

Man, thats weird and annoying! It sprays in a "string" like you said, but it splattered everywhere. BTW I tried this after a wash. This is very intersting stuff though, I'll have to try applying like a wax, via a MF and see how it does, maybe a new quick liquid wax. Still odd that they dispense it in the sprayer.

well ive tried it, but i use it like eny other wax, i dry my car up,, spray the string of wax with a foam aplicator on the entire car, not panel by panel, but the entire car, let it hazed an then take it out with the MF towell, just use it like a booster wax.
