Rain X

Did you use a seperate wash mitt or something other than what you used on your paint.?

I would not feel right about using my Autopia sheepskin mitt on Rain-x.
 
I used a separate, older Cheniile wash mitt on the windows. I have wash mitts for the wheels, upper body, lower body, door jambs and now for rain x!
 
:xyxthumbs That's what I was looking for. Thanks. By the way, I love Rain X. I haven't had any streaking problems... but this sounds great and I will try it the next time I wash the vehicles

I used to apply Rain-X with a folded paper towel and then just buffed it off then washed the window. How long does rain-x last for you folks ?
 
I usually put it on once a month, so I really can't tell you how long one application lasts.
 
Last application was 4+ months ago probably and it stick kicking somewhat. Considering it's gone through the entire winter period, that's surprising.



Not as good as a fresh application but it's definitely still on there!
 
I tried this today. I had a Heck of a time removing the haze.

I am using the "New" Rain X, (the one that turns white with a haze) I find its easier to remove dry with a MF towel. Thanks anyway for the idea. Maybe you are using the older Rain X?
