That looks good.

What other manufacturers did you consider in the planning process? I'm interested in doing my garage floor, but wonder how Racedeck 'sounds' when you drive / walk on it. Does it creak & pop when it's driven over?

No popping or creaking. I was worried about that too, but had heard there was none. It does sound like you are walking on PVC though. Not a bad sound, just different. I looked at ALL the other manufactures and this was the least expensive that fit my needs. I almost pulled the trigger on "Ucoat" paint, but decided to spend the cash on a floor that I wouldn't have to worry about lifting paint...EVER.

What type of wallcovering is that on the bottom half of the walls ? Looks real nice.

Actually it's painted concrete. Doesn't look as nice in person, but it looks much better than unfinished. The builder finished the rest of the garage and put in heat, but for some reason left that part unfinished. Go figure!

Looks terrific CLK. I'm also thinking about doing this. One question...does the floor seem to flex too much? I'm concerned about the plastic nature of the tiles...

also: Where did you find the best price?

Looks great! How did you talk the little lady into it? I want to do that bad but she won't budge.

Ha! That was easy. I bought her a new iMac.

It's flexing just a little today. The tile seems to have expanded a bit and I had to do some trimming on one side. You should make sure and leave a little room for this at the edges.

I found it for 2.99 sq foot with $12 shipping on the whole order at Eastwood Co. They did say the price was going up soon though.

What happens when you get liquids under it? (between the cracks)

As far as water goes, i'd imagine it will flow down to the front of the garage (sloped floor) and eventually evaporate. The floor underneath is painted with epoxy. Never had any other liquid on the floor, but worst case, if some oil or something spilled I can pull up a few tiles to clean up.

can you really pull up center tiles easily? it looked like you'd need to work from the edge all the way back into the center

Yeah, I'd probably have to start from the nearest edge and work from there. I don't do any work on my car in the garage, and the only other things in the garage are my cleaning supplies. I'll keep my fingers crossed.....
