this is quite possibly the most n00b question on the forum, and i'm sure you have all received many like it, but because i'm pressed for time, im gonna bypass doing a search and just ask my quesiton...

I have a brand new 2007 Audi A4 2.0T in Brilliant Black exterior and Ebony Interior, and I would like to get some brand recommendations for my purpose. Everything from chemicals, to applicators and whatnot. I would like to do a basic detailing, nothing professional grade or show car grade...after all this will be a daily driver. I want to wash and wax the exterior (and get rid of swirls...), want to protect and shine the wheels, and dress the tires, and condition the interior leather, dashboard, etc. I beleive that covers the basics. Keep in mind that I'd like to get everything within a total of $200-$250. I know that might be a squeeze...but thanks in advance. To start off, I have some ideas...but please give me better suggestions if you have any

Car Wash: Zaino Z-7

Interior: 303 Aerospace

Wheels: Wheel wax for the tires and wheels?

the problem I run into, is the exterior wax and swirl remover. There are so many out there, all of which seem promising, but I simply do not know which to get...

Welcome to Autopia :) I guess you could get as many different answers as there are members here, or even more. My suggestion is to read and learn in the C&B section and try some of the combinations you like. But Audis are famous for having a hard clear coat so for swirl removing try to look what others have used on Audis and other hard cc. I had an A4 and liked the paint, very easy to keep looking good, but not fun to fix any defects.

Your car sounds very nice, love Audi interiors, I miss that most of all.
