So the mother in-law popped in and I’ve been wanting to tackler her car. She wasn’t staying long so I did this a a surprise. Knowing I had to move fast I timed it. Lol.
52min wash to shine. Hands FROZEN lol
Used griots perfecting cream on orange pad with the griots G15 polisher.

Think I asked before.. if there appears to be a haze afterwards.
1. Is that from too much product?
2. Working too fast and not letting machine work?
3. Is there a “learning curve” to the G15 vs the PC7242 ? Or maybe I lucked out killing my dads with the inaugural run with the PC.lol

Probably too aggressive of pad for the paint, a quick go over with a finish pad will take care of it. Looks good in the picture!

Same general opinion as Mike lambert: something, presumably the pad since the product was mild, was too aggressive for a final step; the paint needed some further refinement.

UNLESS... something (else) went haywire.

Working in cold conditions can make weird things happen. Any residual contamination on the paint when you polish can cause hazing and working that quickly, without a decontamination step, could easily result in that. Using the same pad on 1) a contaminated area and then also on 2) a different area could cause that, as could doing the same with your buff-off MF.

Not saying those things happened, just that when you`re racing the clock there`s a greater chance of things going wrong.

ABSOLUTELY not knocking the job, I bet she`s very pleased with it (as well she should be).

No... you would probably be correct in all your assumptions! lol

If I had time I would have quickly done black light to polish and as mike said. Problem solved.
And yeah. She’s ecstatic ! I’m pretty happy too. But I’d like it to be better.
