Detailing Gnosis
I had received a sample of CG VRP in trade so do not know if there is more than one version. The CG adds the words it super shine on labeling.
Scent: No detectable intended scent. It smelled almost stale. This is odd for a CG product.
Color/Consistency: White medium. Close to what many call a gel.
Ease of application: Excellent. It dries quickly without much wipe off so should have minimal sling.
Durability: Not bad. It had been on the car for over 2 weeks and driven through a couple of rains and was still looking very good except on one tire. I touched it up this morning after washing the car.
Look: This is not a "shine". On the Michelins MXM4 tires, it is what I was call as "natural" as you could get. There is no glossy sheen and did not seem to change by application (or over application). I applied product to yellow applicator and spread so this usually insures even look. I did apply to the plastic liners in the wheel well and had a similar look.
Conclusion: I was expecting a fruity scent and more shine but looks like a good general purpose dressing - clean, natural dressing -- for most any surface.
