Quick paint correction?

What you think about optimum hyper compound via rotary then followed by poli-seal all-in-one via pc speed 5? will this combo make a fair finish? im not going for perfection, just fair (work for car dealerships). will the sealant hide the flaws caused by the rotary, or will it actually get rid of it since its a polish/cleaner/sealant? :think2

No such thing as a "quick paint correction".

What's wrong with the car to begin with?? Swirls?? Scratchs?? Marring?? what??

No, a sealent won't remove rotary holograms, and there shouldn't be many if any if you do it right......

"polish/cleaner/sealent"???? short cuts like that don't typically have much results.

Working for a dealership I highly doubt they would let you do it the right way anyhow since they're more concerned with quantity then quality and to do it right takes time.

Sounds to me like you're not trying to do what's best for the car and actually correct the problems with the paint, sounds like you just want a quicky cheap fix......can't help you with that, not a quality job.:tribe:

i leave holograms.. call me a newbie. actually, i am kind of a newbie when it comes to rotary use. i want something quick to get rid of the holograms caused by buffing. they dont care about swirls, but it i figure i can just hide them anyways with the optimum poli seal.

Hiding them does nothing.......they will come back in a couple washes and then you will have an angry customer.

As I said already sealents won't hide anything, they're sealents.........

To hide things you need to use glazes and polishs with oils and fillers in them. You need to get familiar with products, another reason why I'll never have a dealership touch my car, not even to wash it.:grinno:

im sure a all in one will get rid of the buffer trails with a polishing pad via pc. i dont think they care about the swirls all that much. if they did, i would be doing every car on the lot! and to be honest (this might sound harsh, especially posting this here).. not a whole lot of people in my area care if a car has swirls on them. i seen the managers hummer swirled up and when i ask if he wanted that corrected for free out of courtesy.. he was like  "why?"
