That picture is what it looked like brand new. I don't have a picture of it currently, but lets just say that the stripes are getting all sorts of brown and white spotting all over them (the roof is the worst)! Also the paint on the spoiler seems to have white markings on it too (possibly some flaw in the clear coat?).. Does anyone have suggestions on how to counter-act these imperfections? (I can post pics if necessary)

I've owned it for a little over a year and I'm just now "learning" what it really means to take care of it. (Not what my mom & dad taught me with some dish-soap & hot water in a bucket...) I've been trying to build up a solid array of detailing products and work on my system for cleaning it. Here is what I've put together so far, please feel free to comment!

Exterior:

1. Wet down car

2. Wash using a microfiber mit and two buckets (one water to clean mit, one using water with Armor All Ultra Shine Wash & Wax)

3. Clay bar the car (Turtle Ice Liquid Clay Bar)

4. Wet car down again

5. Dry car with chamoise (Tanner's Select chamois)

6. Polish car (Turtle Ice Liquid Polish)

7. Hand apply wax (Meg's Gold Clear Coat Paste Wax) and remove using microfiber cloth

I've listed the products I currently use with the steps. Feel free to post suggestions/comments on those as well. When I was originally shopping for detailing products, I just bought the Armor All kit from Walmart.

It has the Wash & Wax stuff, Extreme Tire Shine, Triple Action Wheel Cleaner, Original Protectant (for dashboard), and some Glass Wipes. I also bought some Meg's Gold Leather Wipes and some Meg's ScratchX for the imperfections I've accumulated. I typically use TTs on the interior, and I've just bought some MF clothes from Walmart to use on the exterior. (They are 80/20, 90,000 fibers psi, so hopefully they will do the job!)
