How should I apply the p21s carnauba wax with my orbital? I am kinda confused because it is a paste. I am using a grey pad because I am going over Klasse. Also the same with the p21s paint cleanser, how should I apply that on the pad?

Is it alright to use a regular towel to dry after washing? I just press it on without wiping. Then I wipe a micro fiber towel to finish the rest.

How long does it take AIO to cure? Also the sealant glaze…

thanks!

I searched for the paste wax question but no dice. I need to know how do I apply it on to the foam pad.

I am doing the paint cleaner b4 the Klasse, sorry i should have mentioned that in my orginal post.

Also, should I apply eagle one to the foam pad when I apply the paste or the paint cleaser? I am doing that for the Klasse.

thanks

1) You shouldn't use the PC for applying or removing the P21S Paste Wax. It's supposed to be buffed off almost immediately, and if you use a buffer, it's going to make it harder to remove. P21S is sooooooo easy to use by hand, I have no idea why anyone would want to apply/remove with a PC.

2) I apply P21S GEPC with a white pad and the PC. I run the PC at about speed 4, with moderate/light pressure, and I continue to work the product in until it's nearly removed through the application process. Buff any remaining residue with a clean, soft, plush microfiber towel.

3) AIO takes about 15-30 minutes to cure, depending on atmospheric conditions (temp, humidity). SG takes about 4-12 hours, depending on conditions.

Again, please do not apply the P21S wax with your PC....

I second this wholeheartedly. P21S/S100 has got to be the easiest paste wax to use by hand and just glides on super thin in a flash. I hadn't used it for a couple months until a couple days ago when I waxed a small area with it. I was shocked that I'd forgotten how easy it was to apply for such a premium product.

From what I've heard about P21S GEPC, I would not bother with using it at all if you're using AIO because it's so mild. AIO has a similar job to GEPC and I would just use AIO with a polishing pad instead. If you have swirls to remove you'll need something else before AIO.

Probably should clarify something about the P21S GEPC, or at least share my experience/use for it: I like it not for it's cleaning abilities (which is nearly non-existant), but rather for its jetting, depth enhancement and gloss building qualities.

After using the GEPC, I find that the paint looks deeper, more wet and more glossy than it did before I used it. It also seems to work great as a "final polish" right before the wax/sealant phase begins.

I would think that products like AIO and Z7 would negate the benefits of the GEPC, but I've found that's not the case; it seems to help even when you apply other products on top of it.

As Steve well knows, we can attest to this statement unequivically. Think of GEPC as a "polish after the polishing". It really makes a diff regardless of whether you wax or seal.

As for hand applying P21S vs. machine applying, I believe that by the time you bust out the PC, the extension cord, attach a pad, scoop out some wax and begin buffing, I can have a good portion of your car already done. It is incredibly easy to apply and remove. And if you need a PC to remove P21S you are it applying wayyyyy too thick. I can remove P21S with the side of my hand, it's so thinly applied.

I ordered some foam applicators and I wanna know if they are reuseable? Because I am really broke now and cant afford to get new applicators every time I want to wax. Are you sure I should not use a machine for the wax?

thanks!

also, can i apply klasse with just a microfiber towel? I think I will have to apply klasse by hand on my underspoilers.

Foam apps and pads can be reused as long as they are not stained or damaged. After use wash by hand using warm water and laundry detergent. Rinse thoroughly. Let them air dry.

Klasse applied with MF is fine. No worries.

It also makes Blackfire both deeper and brighter for some reason.
