Few questions for you guys.

1. How long did it take you to get a steady stream of customers when first starting out ?


2. Do you receive phone calls from potential clients daily or are they sporadic ?


3. I try do something for my business daily i.e. hand out cards, flyers, talk to people read detailing articles. What do some of you guys do pertaining to your business ?

1.) I am getting wha i might call a steady stream. 1 or 2 details a week. Which with me in school is about as mucha as i can do.

2.) I dont really recieve phone calls. Most of my business is done face to face or sometimes by emailing.

3.) I just try to get the word out everyday. My parents always mention to there freinds about my business. Also keeping your car looking good is also a big Ad.

Those of us in MN find it tough to keep our cars looking good in the spring!

When I did some p/t detailing for hire, I got in with a local self serve wash. I put up a sun shade in his lot and cars would FLOCK in for a hand wax/glaze. I charged $25, took about 10 min with 2 guys working. Awesome profit and what a great arm workout by the end of the day! I would then give them a flyer with some machine polish and interior quotes. I got a lot of business from that!
