Questions regarding minicooper S.

I wanted to know if the graphics on the roof of a minicooper are safe to polish. I am planning do a quick pass of VM with my porter cable. Also, in the cockpit there is a safety sticker on the painted plastic ( looks/feels like it is painted to me) area around the glove box, does anyone have any ideas on how to remove it without scratching the plastic (is a careful hand and a razor blade my best bet?)?

Also, to protect that painted plastic in the interior, should I just clean it well and put a coat OCW on it?

Thanks a bunch!

P.S. Here are some pics of what I am talking about

safe to polish ....YES

"cockpit sticker"....heat gun or hair dryer to heat the sticker than slowely peel the sticker off with your hand (start at a corner with your finger nail CAREFULLY!)

is a careful hand and a razor blade my best bet?.... :nono :nono allthough i have and can :nervous2: (but dont recommend) it is a LAST resort (also a razor is good to remove things "stuck" to carpet like gum thats been there for a while.....just use the tiny corner of the blade and lightly pull the corner towards you like in little fast strokes. :bigups )

protect that painted plastic in the interior......yes OCW will work  perfectly!!.........

your welcome in advance! lol :closed:

Check with the manufacturer of the roof graphic. Some are waxable, some aren't.

On the dash sticker, the one in my 2004 MCS peeled off without a problem. Same for my wifes 2005 MCS. A bit of residue around the outer edge where dust got into the stickum, but that came right off with NXT cleaner/wax (yes, I wax the interior dash surfaces in my MINI :nervous: )

cooper roof graphics are vinyl stickers. i wouldn't go too crazy on it. if you heat it up too much it might deform.
