Question on quick detail spray

The products i've been using

NXT wash

mother clays

and now i ordered Jeff's Werkstatt Prime Strong and Jeff's Werstatt AJ-Trigger .

I wash my car once a week, im wondering how long is the Prime strong polish going to last (about how many washes?) and should i use the Aj-trigger after "each" wash to wax the car?

I never used the detail spray!

any tips?

Thanks alot

Not sure how long AJ will last since I never used it but the NXT wash is not very gentle on your LSP.

To prolong the lsp life you may want to consider using a more gentle wash soap.

I ise and swear by Duragloss #901, can be had OTC, is cheap but MOST important works great!!

I've never used Werkstatts products except for his quick wash, but reading on here that the durability of this product calls for several months, of course depending the weather and driving conditions.

Using a quick detailer will enhance the look and some adds protection. You can QD after each wash (that's what I do) for added protection, but I mainly QD my car after washing to get that "slick" finish after washing.

If you're concerned about durability, then I would add a coat of AJ trigger once a month to keep your finish looking at it's best.

Motorcity is Duragloss #901 a soap?

also my car has no dents or scratches/ its mostly a show car, but i hate using mothers liquid gold class wax, it leaves the surface smooth but no real shinny

but do you guys think i should use Werkstatts products and his ajt and if not (coupe) what quick detailer do you think is worth the money?

Yup, great lubricity, great cleaning power, lsp safe when use in correct ratios.

OTC it can be had at most Napa' and Car Quests, call ahead to make sure they have it. If they dont Napa can order it from the warehouse at no extra charge - should take a day for it to arrive.

You need to understand the products first.

Prime is an AIO (all in one), AIO's are ussually a sealant and chemical cleaners in one product. Some times there are abbrasive cleaners in them but most are chemical.

AJT is a straight up sealant, you do not use this as a QD.

Quick Detailers are used to remove light light dust, finger prints and restore some gloss after washes.

BTW, meguiars makes gold class, not mothers.

well please put me in the correct way.

I have ford Metalic Silver paint, just looking to make it wet/but shine while being protective

Im looking for a great sealer to be put on by hand to keep the paint nice and smooth

and i'm looking for a quick detailer to just spray on while protecting and have a nice wet shine!

First off im gonna start off with the

wash- Duragloss #901

polish/sealant ?

quick detailer ?

i want to see what you guys recommend ?

thanks for the help

My other choice would be ajt with Zaino Z8 to top it off?

I seen some photos of silver cars done with ajt and zaino.

and im happy with the outcome..

what do you guys think with that combo?

90% of the look of your paint is in the prep not the LSP. Meaning if your paint has swirl marks, micro-marring, etches, contaminants ect then your paint wont be at its full potential no matter what LSP you use.

I would start off by claying your vehicle first.

well the car has no swirl marks or any thing like that matter, sunday i clayed the car,the car was just repainted 6 months ago

Coupe, what do you think about ajt with Zaino Z8 or Jw carnauba jett

I'm Set on AJT, just looking for a wax to top it off for protection and that extra pop

^ I'm sure there's no problem using Z-8 on top of AJT.

Since I'm using Zaino on my car, I would wash with Z-7, then to retain that slick finish and to prevent hard water spots, I always use either Z-6, or Z-8 after each wash.

Monthly I would add a coat of Zaino just have the refresh look so people can say WOW!!

Dont mean to be a jerk or anything but i have a hard time believing your paint is 100% perfect.

I dont top AJ/T with anything, IMO it does not need it.

Your not being a jerk, Coupe, but when i ment my car is clean because, it was just repainted due to being keyed, and its been stored in a garage, i bet theres some flaws but none visable to me.

And i want to thank everybody out there that has helped me so far!

Well coupe the car is driven about 35miles aday and the car needs washed weekly.

And you used Aj/t before could you tell me how long it shines for after washes?

or do you think as a daily driver i just just use Aj/t about every 3 weeks?

or just buy a quick detailer to spray on in between major details?

I just dont wanna insult you. I get alot of people who call me asking for a detail and tell me that their paint is mint. Then upon inspection its so far from it isnt even funny, these people just havent trained their eyes to see the imperfections yet, after 5 minutes with me thats all they can see in their paint.

As far as AJ/T it shines and beads forever and ever. I went 4 months once and it was still like i just applied it. I just got bored and re-applied it, i bet it could have gone a good couple more month easy, but thats just a guess. I did top it not to long ago with S100 and it totaly killed the look, i immediately hit the paint again with prime and re-applied AJ/T and left it that way.

this is how it looks on my red car, it looks like this for many months after the application:

For quick detailer i use mostly over the counter QD's. I go through way way way to much to justify buying online. I found that Mothers quick detailer works best with AJT.

absolutly beautiful grand am awesome reflectivity. as for myself i use cg's blitz spray sealant, so so easy to apply wipe off, i'll do this twice, followed up with s&g, followed by aw. maybe it's overkill but so slick and wet. it's what works for me and it's very easy. i maintain it with s&g.
