question on applying paste wax

Hi guys I'm pretty new to here and I want to know what is the right method of applying paste wax by hand? Any written directions that I could learn from?

Also, what would u guys reccomend for a hand applicator?

Read the manufacturers recomendations. I apply with a foam applicator slightly moistened with water or a pad lubricant, wipe off with a soft microfiber towel.:welcome:

Reading the manufacture's directions is best because not all paste waxes go on the same or come off the same.

Some want you to apply to the entire car before you take the excess off. Some want you to work section at a time.

Generally you want to get in the habit of applying thin even coats and make sure the surface is cool and clean (clayed).

The Wolfgang Polishin' Pal is great for applying paste waxes.

I have something similar to the polishing pal and it also works with microfiber applicator. The same velcro on the pad seems to hold the mf applicator well too.
