Question on applying carnuaba...

Do you guys apply carnuaba waxes in the same fashion as everything else? That is. a back and forth motion instead of circular motions? I have 4 coats of SG on my car right now and I'm going to put on some Blitz this weekend for the first time. I just want to make sure I do it right.

Also, any other tips and/or tricks for using Blitz? Is the applicator that comes with it any good or should I use something else?

Thanks,

Derrick

The applicator that comes with it should be fine. You could go get a pack of the Meguiar's pads if you wanted to, but the 'stock' one should be fine. :)

Always apply everything in back and forth motions. Always apply things in the direction that the air moves over your car. That is the best way to avoid swirls. :xyxthumbs

I figured that was the answer, that's the way I do everything else. Just wanted to make sure since I've never applied a carnuaba product before.

Thanks a lot!!

How do you think the Blitz will look on my silver paint with the 4 coats of SG? Am I going to notice a difference?

btw - the paint is in flawless condition....(as I pat myself on the back)...car is only 2 months old and only touched by me....

You'll definatly see a difference. Check your car out in the evening sometime and then check it out at the same time after you put Blitz on it. The edges and body lines are going to glow after a coat of Blitz. The reflections will be deeper too. You'll notice that your hood and your trunk look very liquid. I love what carnuba does to light colored cars.

You can see the glow on the body lines and the liquid look on the trunk. Of course, that's not silver, but you get the idea. :)

You'll deffinitly see a difference....I used Blitz on my mom's camry and the jetting effect was deffinitly more dramiatic than with just Klasse. Just make sure you give the Blitz about 20 minutes to dry.
