Question about PB S&W

I recently mixed PB S&G with S&W I added 1/3 S&G and it worked pretty good.
Has anyone experimented with this combo and if so what ratio works best.

Since DG-AW would have more durability than a QD like S&G I"m wondering if it would work.

Most of the time when I clean my car it is not dirty enough to need anything other than a QD but I use the S&W because I think it is safer if the car is a little to dusty for a QD.

Instead of going back over with a QD I want to do it all in one application. :D
 
Sounds like he has reservations about the 60/40 I have used 70/30 with good results but the car was nothing but light dust.

I been thinking about the S&W AW mix for some time now.
I think tomorrow I will mix a few ounces and see what happens.

I have no Idea what chemicals are involved but if I mix just a few ounces if it don't work I"m not out much. :yikes:

I decided to give the S&W + AW a try.
I just came in from my experiment. :eek:

I put 1 ounce of AW into 2 ounces of S&W poured it in a small squirt bottle shook and put it on my Ole beater that is really in need of a wash.

No one would expect it to work on this vehicle I'm talking dirty the finish feels like sand paper. :wow:

It cleaned it and it feels pretty smooth the dirt was removed and it has a nice gloss.

After seeing how it worked I tried it on my wifes Explorer she drove it about 100 miles yesterday and it had dust on the back.

I only had a total of three ounces and used a lot of it on the Ole Bronco but I did get the back of the Explorer done and it looks real nice. :bigups

I will check it tomorrow and see if it ate the paint off overnight. :crazy2:
 
I really like S&W as a product. I like to see Steve posting about mixtures. It did not impress me enough to continue mixing after I had tried it once. Others have noticed improvement. I have choosen not to mix mostly because that is when I get the biggest change.

For me it ended up I decided that S&G was doing one third of what it could do and S&W was doing two thirds of what it could do. I would rather get the full effect from both. This is strictly my opinion and worth what it cost, though.
 
I have and i usually fill my bottle up 2/3 of the way with the S&W then top it off with the S&G and I really like this combo.

But i never use it on real dirty vehicles. I usually use it on the car that is lightly dusted after I have used the CaCar duster first.

You are probably right but I think it depends on what vehicle you are detailing or at least for me it does.
I will continue to do singles steps on my show car because I want to make it look as good as I can before summiting it for judging.

On my daily driver as long as it is clean and has a nice gloss that is good enough for me.
I just finished comparing S&W mixed with S&G to the S&W mixed with AW and side by side the AW has more gloss.
I think I may be onto something for a quick clean and leaves it looking more than good enough for something that is not a show car.
