question about grout sponges

Will any one work ore is there something special about the Proline one that makes it better suited for car washing?

I picked one up at a tile shop by my house and it passed the cd scratch test, is it ok to use?

Yes. Have fun with it. Stop using it when it starts to loose it's softness. Usually the same time it starts to turn darker in color.

I use the proline sponge for a few reasons:

1. Its very soft. Softer than the other GS that I have tried

2. It seems to glide on the paint easier when using ONR

3. It comes clean very easily not only during the wash, but after with a tiny squirt of dawn it comes out looking brand new

4. Its less than 2 bucks

im actually heading out to grab me a couple to test them out. I'm sure they will be great with all the good reviews people on here are giving them.

i like the proline better than all the other sponges (zymol, lake country, HD, etc) i have used. it's personal preference, as some may like the others instead...

Well I tried it and hated it. I'll try again with one of the Proline sponges, but so far I'm very turned off to grout sponges!
