Hello I have a question regarding this spray. I washed and cleaned and dried my cars and applied this coating on them about amonth ago. It went on and off so easy and they looked beautiful. Now this past weekend I washed them again and I wanted to apply the ceramic spray coating again but I noticed on the hood of my truck it left swirls and was really hard to get off and on doors it felt like swirl Mark`s. It also did it on my car as well. I thought maybe i hit a coner that had a lil water still idk what it was from. What could it have been to make it not like easy to wipe off. Any information would be appreciated I also have follow up question after this gets answered.

I`m a little unclear what is happening.

Perhaps you can give me a call to 714-891-3364 x241 and we can have a conversation and email some pictures to me at jimd@mothers

Thank you I will try and call later I`m in ny so idk what zone you are in. I have no pics. But let me.see if I explain better I know my original post was all over. Let`s take my hood is black I applied the spray coating on to it then used applicator to spread it over my hood I wait a minute or so then I take my microfiber towel and start to wipe it off and it seem.like its just spreading it all over and not comming off. Then its just smearing all.over the hood and dont come off. The door panel also looked wavy&streaky. The first time I used it it worked out great this is second time idk what it could be maybe I hit a wet part on the car and thats why it was smearing

Spray it on an applicator or towel (and make sure the towel is folded into a pad) for best results -- not directly on the surface.

You may have too much product on the surface.

Try a water-dampened towel, wipe it around, and buff dry with a fresh towel.

And if it`s below 70 degrees, you might need up to 10 or 15 minutes to set.

I recommend a microfiber covered applicator pad for CMX application.

The blend of microfiber in most applicators has a low absorbency factor so it spreads product better than with a towel (which tend to have a higher absorbency factor and more material so it`s wasting product).

A microfiber pad simply works more efficiently than a towel, and is not going to scratch the paint.
