QEW-Water Ratio

I've noticed that quite a few people on here use more QEW per gallon of water than the instructions call for. Has anyone had any problems with residue on their car? It seems to me that if you use more than you're supposed to, the QEW might not wipe off correctly/easily without a rinse.

I've read that thread already, but the instructions there pretty much just follow the directions on the label (1 oz. per gallon). I've seen posts on here from people who've used 2 and 4 oz. per gallon for really dirty cars. I was wondering if that works fine, or if it causes any problems.
