QEW horrendous smell!!!

Ok so I got my QEW today in record time. Ordered Sunday night and received today (wed) good service in m book. Does anyone else notice it smells like urine. really really bad urine at that.

Is it just me?

Hopefully, it's the QEW and not you.:)

Never smelled it to check the odor, but I never noticed it when mixing it either.

O beleive me I checked!! I thought I might have been excited because of all the stuff I got in the mail today but not THAT excited haha.

I noticed it when I poped the top of the QEW.. gross

I really don't know much of the smell myself, but I always get honey bees around the vehicle I QEW. It seems to attract them. Must be the smell. :rolleyes:
 
I use QEW all the time and I never noticed any smell. I think you got a bad bottle. I'd send it back and ask them for a replacement.

(Unless you particularly like the smell of urine... :yes: j/k)
 
Ya i have another gallon of QEW on the way. I guess if its the same then I have to use QEW that smells like piss.

I also think QEW has a rather strong smell. But, it doesn't stop me from using the product. It's a great solution for cold weather washing inside the garage as well as during times of water restrictions.

I just noticed that the gallon size is currently on sale at the Camping World site. That's a pretty good price. Be aware that you may have to pay tax and high shipping rates. The last time I ordered a gallon, it came to almost $40 with New York tax and shipping.

I use S&W for waterless washes on my cars...in CA my car does not get that dirty even in the winter. If it does its off to the DYI spray place then back to the S&W to finish up

I beleive I payed 35 for my gallon to be shipped. FWIW camping world has good CS and they helped me out very quickly.

I do not recall what my QEW smells like, but I know it does not smell like urine.

You pay NYS sales tax because camping world has brick and mortar stores in NY. By the way CW has a good sale price on QEW right now, so thanks for posting the link.
