Are non-carnauba qd's polymer based? If so, what happens if a non-carnauba qd gets sprayed over a carnauba topper?

I don't think all are: take the typical Meguiars QDs. I don't see any issues spraying them over carnauba. Folks do that all the time. I'd be surprised if some found weakening/compromising of the carnauba since I assume the QD manufactuer would think carnauba would typically be sprayed with their product.
