First off I would like to say I am a new member and hello to everyone!

My car is a dark metallic blue and I had it painted about 2 months ago. The steps I took to detail it was:

-Dawn wash

-Clay bar

-Wash again

-Chamois dry

-PWC applied by hand

-1 coat of P21S

-2nd coat of P21S applied 12 hours later

Am I using good methods here? Are these 2 products used a good combination? Recommendations appreciated! Thanks!

I would take the dawn wash out, get a good car shampoo. Try Waffle Weave MicroFiber Towels for your drying. PwC with P21S is a great combo.

Thanks for your help. Also, would using a PC give me a significant difference over polishing by hand? Keep in mind, my paint is new and has no imperfections in it...all i'm looking to achieve is a nice, deep and smooth "wet" look.

I was thinking of going with P21S Paintwork Cleanser...is this a polish?

I do everything by hand, and I'm happy with my daily driver. I hear a PC will make a difference. Paintwork is a chemical cleaner I believe, it will clean the paint and most likely bring the depth out, but I'm not sure, I've never used it before. Some nice polishes/glazes out there would be Adam's Revive, Clearkote's VM or RMG, 1Z MP or PP, etc........
