I have found purple power very effective......is it alright to use on the interior including dash, steering column, door jambs, center console and basically everything else?....Also is it cool to use on stains on the carpet?

I always use it with 1 half water and 1 half purple power

that is exactly how and where i use it. it is an apc so you are safe.

It's this Humungous sized container of OTC degreaser. You can get it at Autozone and the like.

Being that it is relatively cheap, I've thought about doing the same thing. Has anyone noticed any issues in with your methods of application? Meaning does it fade or harm in any way?

Purple Power is very strong. I would go with something like Simple Green, and use the PP for the engine and tires. PP is not safe for the interior. Thats speaking from past experience with the stuff.

May be good for tires...but not recommended to get on wheels

I use it almost everyday. Engine, tires, wheel-wells, carpet.
I use SG diluted 1:3 on interior. PP can be found cheap.
I think it is a great product for the money.
