pure water to remover the need to dry off?

I have seen the flash car system, and some comment that it is very good for hosing off as the pure water does not leave drying marks.



I am thinkinga better way might be to put a water filter in line with the hose pipe, cheaper, longer lasting and just as effective?



Anyone tried this?

Do a search for GE or water softener. There was a couple of threads a few months back about it. Some people have had a bit of success. To get the full benefits though, you should have a sediment filter first and then a DI stage.
