Purchased Duragloss 105/AW, Couple Questions

NewOwner FL

Ok, since I'm new to the Duragloss family, I have to ask a few total Noob questions:

1. Is 105 supposed to be a liquid like Klasse, or thick and soupy like P21 Paint Cleaner? Mine is thin like Klasse.

2. I live in Florida and its smoggy, but hot today. If I apply the 105 in the shade, should I give a few extra minutes to wipe off, or is 20-30 minutes going to be ok?

3. I was able to get some AW at $4.99 at Car Quest. Can I put that on after the final wipe of the 105, or should I try and wait until tomorrow? Reason being, this is going onto Mom's car and I was hoping to get both products on for her before our family cookout.

Thanks guys, can't wait to try it out!

1) Yep, 105 is very thin, very liquidy...it's normal, and makes it spread very very thin.

2) Just to let it cure, give it about 20 minutes...should be good to go by then. If it's humid, could take much longer.

3) I use AW immediately after 105 with no problems at all. Others like to wait to let the 105 harden/bond. Again, I use it immediately after though, and find it works wonders...

Best of luck!!

Regards,

Mike

Sweet! Thanks Mike! My Mom just purchased a new car last weekend, and for Mother's Day she is getting a Duragloss detail and we're getting her windows tinted as well. She's pretty excited about it, so I just wanted to make sure I consult with my fellow Autopians first.
