Ordered my PUPP and Platinum ultimate spray today.:) I should have a couple more layers of SG on before it gets here. Anyone ever used the PL-Ultimate spray?

X-man, it's suposed to be a killer toghether with the UPP. I have my hood prepared with the Menzernas twin polishes followed by the Einszett polymer wax polish and then the AIO x 2. After that I put on 2 x SG and 2 x UPP. Today I ended with a layer of P21S CW. I've only used FI as I don't have the PGE.



Just be real carefull with the aplication of UPP. As with SG, very thin coat. Wait 45min to 1 hour (or more) and buff off. Wait 24h before adding another coat.

My experience with PUPP is that it is way more forgiving than SG. It hazes up on drying, but wipes off eaily. I let it dry as short as 20 minutes, and it all wiped off, no streaks and no haze. Much easier to use than SG, and beads better. I don't know about durability though, so I am experimenting a bit with 3 panels with 3 different layers:



1) AIO, 3xSG, 2xPUPP

2) AIO, 2xSG

3) AIO, 1xPUPP
 
Probably a month. That's all I can stand before I layer more stuff on. The 3 panels are my wife's red Hyundai.



1 is on the hood, 2 is on the roof, and 2 is on the rear spoiler.



I haven't done the sides and bumpers of the car yet, but I will probably got with AIO + 3 x SG for those panels and leave that for 2 or 3 months, as I hate detailing the lowers of the car since I am 6'2". :)
 
The Gloss Enhancer QD is great, you will see a difference when you add it after the UPP, really sets the car off. I haven't used any other QD's for polymers but I am pretty happy with this and when I run out soon I will get some more. I have been getting more experience with the UPP and it is very impressive especially with the right prep work.
 
X-MAN- I see we got you to order the PUPP. I haven't tried it myself, but I think you'll like it. I tried to reply to your PM but your mailbox runneth over.

Yeah, I don't think I've heard one negative thing about it. These guy's replying to my post have gotten me really anxious to try it out.:D I am wondering if anyone has went back & fourth with the PUPP to SG and and how compatible they are together.

OH........my mailbox should be empty.

I'm a huge fan of the Platinum QD. Its the only one I've used that isn't a carnauba QD that actually improves the appearance of the car. Its an awesome spray. You'll love it.

Jngr, you've gone back and forth between PUPP and SG, haven't you?



LOL, you make it sound like he is dating two women and should only be committed to one. Jngr does SG know about PUPP. I hope the women in his life understands these acronyms.
