Thanks for looking!

Disclaimer: All cars mentioned in this thread where detailed by me. :out:

Hey Bryan... the cars look great! I've never done any exotics, mostly just old American classic cars for me.

Are you concerned about the Ferrari paint being very thin? I've seen posts that Todd posted where some Ferrari paint is less than 1 mil in thickness!

(Would make me as nevous as a cat!!!:scared:)

Hi Bill,

I know Bryan used his paint thickness meter to determine paint condition before polishing. You are right, the paint on older Ferrari's can be super thin. A lot of these cars have been buffed out many times, and the factory paint wasn't all that great to begin with.

Thanks for posting. Beautiful classics!

Thanks michakaveli!

Beautiful cars. Nice work!

Thank you Jokeman!

Thanks Bill!

The 365 was a repaint with clear so no big deal there.

But the 328 was original from the factory. It had more then a few thin spots on edges, so while using my PTG I carefully polished in those and any other areas I found to be thin. I taped over some areas to ensure that I did not excessively thin out any areas.

Got to have a PTG when dealing with cars like these.
