What do you guys recommend to remove or downplay scratches in paint. I was thinking about buying GS27 that is being advertised on TV, but I'd bet you guys would not recommend that.

Yep, we do not recommend GS27.

How deep are the scratches? We generally use 3M polishes. a different 3M polish meant for different levels of scratches/severity of them.

oh, by the way, post in the active forum. Not that many people lurk in the archives.

Just a 2 hour drive south to Montgonery, AL. Same client as the Ferrari 365 GTC/4 I did a few months ago.

This is the client's wifes car, so you bet it had to be right.

You're right Bryan... Return customers (especially the wife's car) gets special treatment!

Nice correction work. PCXP + KBM is definitely a winner!:cornut::thumbup:

Fantastic work Bryan!!!

The turnaround was amazing. Those were some serious swirls, and now they are no more:thumbup:

Gives me hope that one day I might be able to get to that point.

You cant get more paint on a sedan than the LS, and black of course!

Awesome work Bryan, will get to using my surbuf pads on my next hammered car!

Thanks David! Over the last month I have fully polished the following black tanks:

This LS460l 20 hours over 2 days, just me. Worst condition of the bunch.

S65 AMG 23 manhours Bret and I in one long day. Hardest paint with the ceramiclear. Plus consider most of the roof is a clear panel. Easily the most curved panels, especially w/ the "fender flares."

My brothers Sapphire Black Metallic BMW 750li. Least defects of the bunch, but approx 12-15 spots that needed wetsanded to level out previous paint touchups and deep RIDS. Approx 20 hours over 3 days.

Not gonna lie that sounds just about awful:cursing: I had to do a navy blue S550 last thursday ... lucked out, no paint correction detail! Well missed out on the $$ part but my back wasnt hurting the next morning and no sweat was involved in that process

Wow, that looks great.

So you were able to finish, on black paint, with M205? If so, that is VERY promising. I've got M205 here but haven't tried it yet.

A big Benz and no correction needed, somebody likes you.

Thanks Rob! I'm guessing at least 20 black cars finished out with M205 this year.
