Wow, it sure came out awesome:w00t:, Awesome correction work and pure wetness on that Caddy Bryan.:notworthy:

Bryan looks outstanding! How many hours to correct the paint? I did a similar one, not many halos, but the deep marring took a while.

Cheers,
GREG

WHAT?? You removed the custom installed holograms!! Those are special edition!!:cornut:

In all seriousness, great job as usual Bryan.

Question: You listed "M105 Mix" as your 1st step... what is the "Mix"?

Thanks guys!

Jason, I prime the pad with 60-70% of the OG M105 and 30-40% of the new M105. Sometimes for me the old M105 does not like to wipe off the surface very easy. The new M105 wipes off very easy, but does not have the cut of the old M105.

Very nice work! Man that paint was hacked up. I maintain a black one and the paint is so soft. Did you notice the same thing with this color?

Interesting that you should mention the difficulty with getting the liquid of the paintwork. Out of curiosity, are you on your 1st bottle of old M105 ? Reason I ask is that my 1st bottle of M105 old formula I also often had a hard time wiping it off. I also noticed very large particles of abrasives that I would literally pick off the pad or else I would get pig tail like marks.

I thought that this was just the nature of the compound - Fast forward to my 2nd bottle of original formula M105, it wipes of easy every time and no more odd/oversized particles.

I am still on my first gallon of the old M105. I've been watching very carefully as I prime the pad with it, but have not noticed any of the particles. Maybe the next gallon I order will be easier to wipeoff.

Thanks for your feedback Jason!

I was actually told by Meguiar's that this was the clear coat (that is removed in the process) gumming up in the pores of the pad with 105. The pad would spit this all over once every panel was about done. I was told to clean the pad often and to change the pad out with a fresh one more often. I don't experience this anymore with the new formula. Maybe because I change out pads for every panel. I have 10 pads ready to go for full corrections.

Just a thought.

this is straight out of the bottle... before the pad even touches the paint...
