This 996 Turbo has 13k miles and the client was ready to take the paint to another level.

The Turbo is lowered with TechArt springs and I love the HREs.

Before I picked up the car, the client had just returned from a w/e of driving in the North GA mountians. I can't think of a more perfect way to spend a w/e.

I started by rinsing off the wheels, wells and tires with my PW at a safe distance.

The wheels where cleaned with P21s wheel cleaning gel, a blonde boars hair brush, swissvax brush, EZ detail brush and a MF mit.

Tires and wells where cleaned with Amazing Roll-off 1:1 water and various brushes.

Everything was given a through rinse with my PW at a safe distance.

I then foamed up the car with 2oz of CGCWC, 1 oz of Zaino Z7 and the rest of my 32oz foam lance botttle fill with water.

After allowing the foam to dwell, I rinsed off the car with my PW.

I then performed the Valu-gard ABC paint decontamination wash.

I used the valu-gard soap in my foam canon for the last step.

Rinsed everything off and brought the car inside where I clayed the paint while wet using Zaino clay and Z6 as a lube.

Some after wash and clay pics:

I then taped up all the trim in preparation for polishing.

I used my usual KBM via orange LC classic foam pad, New M105 and PC6.

Both of these pics are after M105 and 3x straight IPA wipedowns:

Followed M105 with M205 using a Classic LC black pad via KBM PC6.

Rear plastic taillight lenses polished with M105/orange/PC6 followed by M205/black/PC6.

I cropped these pics out.

After

Applied 2x of Z5pro with ZFX to paint and side glass. Followed by Z8 to paint and side glass.

Cleaned front and rear glass with straight IPA and applied Aquapel to both.

Tires got Z-16 and wheels got ZAIO.

Exhaust tips polished with M105 by hand and finished with ZAIO.

All exterior trim treated w/ 1Z einszett Vinyl-Rubber Care & Protectant "Tiefenpfleger"

Interior-

Vac

Door jambs and all CF trim on interior hand polished with ZAIO and finished with Z8.

Stunning job Bryan !!!!!!

Did you have any issues of foaming the car like that in the full sun??? How long did you let it sit on the car??

Thank you very much Pat!

I spray off the surface for a while first to try and cool it down before foaming, then maybe 10 mins before I rinse it off.

Beautiful!

Can't beat the KBM, that's for sure, although it certainly does help having a detailer of your skill/experience level doing the correction. :up

I'm sure it didn't look that good new. Still hard to believe you can do such stunning work with a PC. Great turnaround on a great car. :bow

Thank you Sludge! I have a 3 week new JB 335i arriving this evening, its not this bad, but it will need a 2 step to look right.

Bryan...the car looked like a completely different color after you worked your magic on it. Bravo my friend, bravo. You're probably going through a lot more small orange pads these days, eh?

Wow, that's so gorgeous Bryan! Your work keeps reaffirming me that the KBM really does work. I just need to suck it up and try it once school's done for the spring, haha. Great job friend!

Good grief, even by Bryanian standards, this was a really fun read! Excellent work, my friend. What a car, and I'm with you on those HRE's. Speaking of which, my apologies if I missed it - any polishing effort required on the wheels?

Thanks for sharing this - stellar work!

Thanks you Denzil! Once Kevin releases his paper and you give it a try, I am sure you will like it.

Thanks Jerry! The outer lips are clearcoated so no "real" polishing. Just ZAIO by hand worked in a bit.

I love that tag line almost as much as your work! Great job as always.:bigups:goodjob:xyxthumbs:bow

Looks outstanding! The 996 is full organic design, love it! No rough edges or rigid cuts in the body or interior, everything is either rounded, curved or bean shaped... even the interior vents!

This is one of my all time favorite P-cars Bryan and it was a shame to see it so so jacked up, truly awesome correction work!
